Hi everyone, my name is Bill Stockton. I have been teaching science in Arlee since 2010. I love teaching scientific reasoning and questioning. The ability to think critically about what we observe and reach our own conclusions is the foundation for science. I am also very involved with our athletic programs, currently serving as the head girls’ basketball coach.
I was born in Grangeville, Idaho located on the Camas Prairie and just a stone throw away from the Clearwater, Salmon, and Snake Rivers. In 2003 I moved to Missoula, Montana to attend the University of Montana. There I met my beautiful wife Betsy. We married in 2008 and have two amazing daughters, Norah and Brooklyn, and two dogs, Roger and Diesel.
I graduated from the University of Montana in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and graduated from Montana State University in 2016 with a master's degree in Science Education. I am very excited to be a part of the Arlee community and look forward to many more years of teaching.
