• 8th Grade United States History

    Prehistory - 1870

U.S. History lasts throughout the entire school year for 8th graders. We begin by studying Native American cultures throughout the country and finish with the American Civil War. Along the way we study the European nations that came to the new world and their early governments here. We also learn about wars like the American Revolution and the War of 1812, as well as the social and political movements that changed life for everyday Americans from diverse cultures and created the foundation of our nation.
