• Welcome

Hello! My name is Carrie Anderson and I am excited to be the Spanish teacher at Arlee Schools for 2017- 2018! I go by Profe Carrie in the classroom, and students will have fun choosing their own Spanish names as well. Foreign language learning is an adventure and I value my role introducing and sharing with students the beauty of the Spanish language and Hispanic culture. Students will learn communicative expression and foundational grammar through play, song, interactive activities and applied practice, respective to the varying class skill levels.

I love teaching, and I look forward to meeting and getting to know Arlee’s students and parents! Please visit my classroom, call or email anytime.

    Bio

I am from Missoula, MT having gone to Hawthorne Elementary, C.S. Porter and both Big Sky and Sentinel High Schools. I graduated from Western Washington University (WWU) in Bellingham, WA in 2008. I taught English in Mexico for two years after graduating and  fell in love with the profession! I discovered that teaching and interacting with youths of all ages is what makes me most happy. I came back to Missoula in 2011 for graduate studies in education and to be near my family. Foreign travels include Mexico, Uruguay, Argentina, Peru, Spain, England and France.
