Jana North is an Arlee High School graduate and is thrilled to be working at the Arlee Schools again! After High School, she attended The University of Montana where she earned a B.S. in Forestry. Post graduation, Jana moved to Sandpoint, Idaho to work for the Forest Service and shortly thereafter, met her husband of 21 years, Ted North. Later, Ted and Jana started a family and moved back to Arlee to pursue Ted's career with Wildlife Services. At this time, Jana decided to be a stay at home mom to raise their three children, Cody, Amelia, and Alice. After about eight years at home, Jana decided to go back to work as a substitute teacher at the Arlee Schools where she later became employed as a para-professional. This is when she decided to go back to school to get a Master's Degree in Education and then was hired at the Dixon Elementary School as a 5-8 Language Arts and History teacher. After four years in Dixon, Jana applied for a position at Arlee Elementary and was offered the job as the First Grade Teacher in June of 2014.
