A Montana native, I have lived around the state as my father was a teacher and coach. I have lived in Wolf Point, Billings, Anaconda, Helena, and Missoula. I moved to Arlee in 1984, while working for the State of Montana, Dept. of Fish, Wildlife and Parks at the Jocko River Trout Hatchery.
I attended Carroll College and the University of Montana and received a B.A. in Cell and Molecular Biology in 1982. I returned to the University of Montana and received my B.A. in Elementary Education in 2002, and my Masters in Science Teaching from Montana State University in 2012.
I have two children, Allie and Zane. I enjoy back-packing, biking, and camping with my family.
