Since 1945, Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) has involved nearly 9 million young adults to find, address, and strive to make a difference in their families, careers, and communities by addressing several important issues found in society and home life using Family and Consumer Sciences Education (FCS) (About Us).
Currently there are around 200,000 members who can be found in 5,500 chapters across the United States as well as the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico (About Us). According to the Annual Membership Report for the 2012-2013 year, Montana alone had 69 chapters with a membership count of 1,131 (FCCLA Membership).
Our Arlee FCCLA Chapter for the school year of 2013-2014 currently has 16 members ranging from Freshman to Senior High School Students, 6 of which are returning FCCLA members and the remaining 10 members have been recruited since the 2012-2013 school year. We are constantly looking for new members and love talking to perspective students about our amazing program! Contact Ms. Auer about joining FCCLA today, or talk to a current member who can fill you in on all the great opportunities FCCLA can present to you!
State Membership Costs: $9.00
National Membership Costs: $9.00
"Former members of FCCLA or formerly known FHA are eligible to become members of Alumni & Associates" (About Us).
Our chapter's individual member registration requirements are based on participation in community service and fundraising opportunities (view our FCCLA calendar of upcoming events) presented to them during the fall semester by Arlee FCCLA (view our various programs, projects, and fundraisers in the Program of Work page). Students MUST participate in a majority of these opportunities to be eligible to register and compete in an event at the state and national levels.
